How Often Should You Clean Your Carpets
One question people always seem to ask is “How often should I clean my carpet?” The simple answer is it depends. For many people the idea that their carpets need cleaning is only apparent when they can see definite signs of dirt accumulation or staining, but the outward appearance of a carpet isn’t always the best way to determine whether carpet cleaning  is necessary or not. This is most apparent for people who have darker carpets that can hide a great deal, including how dirty a carpet really is. Most carpet manufacturers recommend carpets be cleaned at least every 18 months, but this time frame can be inaccurate due to many factors such as the traffic the carpet sees in a normal day, if there are children or pets in the home and whether or not smoking occurs within the house.
